Incentives promoting clean cars

Some incentives are more efficient. In Stockholm, exemption from congestion charges has been the most important incentive. This is shown in a new BEST report.
In the BioFuel Region clean car owners are very satisfied with the free parking benefit, especially if the parking permit is valid in several cities.

FFVs may be more energy efficient with biofuels

Independent and detailed monitoring of 30 FFV cars indicates that fuel consumption is 20 to 30 percent higher when running on E85 (per volume) than on petrol.
This is slightly less than expected and implies that FFV cars use the energy content of E85 more efficiently than they do with petrol.
